EZL-200A module

EZL-200A is an encased RS-232converter for data transmission over Ethernet

Application

As you can see in the picture, the EZL-200A converter is connected to the device communicating via serial RS-232transmission. Opposite side is represented by the Ethernet device or Hub, Switch or Router, which makes the serial port accessible to the Ethernet network and can be communicated from any PC connected to the network or Internet.

The EZL-200A module

EZL-200A module is an encased serial to ethernet converter and allows TCP/IP communication (the Internet communication) simply by connecting the cable to a RS-232serial port. It sends data from the serial port to the Internet network after TCP/IP processing, and vice versa.

EZL-200A supports UDP/IP and TCP/IP protocols, connection to Ethernet standard 10Base-T (network with UTP cables), it provides DHCP and PPPoE functions, so that it can be applied to the cable network and the xDSL network. EZL200A needs only a 5V power supply external unit.

Configuration is possible via Telnet console, or via serial port (both console and extended AT commands) and it is made very easy using a Software interface (for Windows machine).
