Il modem GSM/GPRS della Telit GM862 completo di contropiastra adattatore di
passo è la soluzione l'ideale per sviluppare realizzazione di applicazioni M2M
in maniera semplice e veloce.
Le sue ridotte dimensioni e consumi lo rendono il prodotto ideale per
applicazioni di automotive.
Il modulo della Telit GM862 è un completo modem GSM/GPRS quadriband per
frequenze GSM 850Mhz, 900Mhz, 1800Mhz e 1900Mhz (solo la nuova versione
QUAD) ideale per le integrazioni di tipo OEM. Grazie al contropiastrino
adattatore di passo (connettore Molex <-> passo 2.54) fornito solo da Area SX è
possibile integrare il modem Telit GM862 anche su circuiti montati con
tecnologia tradizionale.
Il contriastrino porta su un comodo connettore 2 x 15 a passo 2.54 tutti i
segnali in uscita dal modem compresi segnali audio e SIM.
Il modem Telit GM862 oltre a supportare pienamente tutti i più comuni comandi
AT, ha un ulteriore set di comandi estesi uno dei più interessanti è il set EASY
GPRS che permette di gestire lo stack PPP e GPRS direttamente dal modem. Quest'ultima
caratteristica permette di risparmiare un numero notevole di righe codice in
tutte quelle applicazioni in cui è necessario inviare dati via rete GPRS.
L'alloggio della SIM card è integrato direttamente nel modulo facilitando
così l'integrazione di quest'ultimo; è anche possibile montare sui propri
circuiti un alloggio SIM esterno se richiesto.
Il connettore dell'antenna è di tipo MMCX con impedenza a 50ohm
e si trova sul fianco del modulo GM862.
